Q: I don’t have an old CV to show you, what do I do?
A: Don’t worry, we can book a 30min telephone appointment to go over your employment history and find out the best information.
Q: How long will I have to wait for my CV?
A: We offer a 72hr email delivery guarantee. If you live outside the UK then the time can vary, however we can send your CV via email whilst you are waiting for the CV pack to arrive.
Q: I need a CV urgently, can I get my CV as a same day service?
A: Yes, but there is a premium charge and is subject to advisor availability.
Q: I paid a deposit of £25 to secure my appointment, what if for any reason I cannot attend, will I get my deposit back?
A: Yes and No… If you need to cancel the appointment, we require 48 hours notice so that we will have the opportunity to book the appointment for someone else. If you give 48 hours notice, we will refund the £25 to you. If you cancel on the day, there will be no refund as there is not sufficient time for us to re-allocate the appointment.
Q: I don’t have a CV, how do I supply you with my information?
A: There are many ways we can gather your information in order to create a CV. CV London recommends that you contact one of our employment advisors to express interest and they will discuss the specialist and affordable options that are available to you. Our Employment Advisor will ask you a set of questions regarding your experience to get a detailed idea of what you require from your CV.
Q: What if I don’t like it?
A: We’re extremely confident that you’ll be happy with the end result. Most of our clients are happy with first draft. We do have an open door policy, meaning that you can contact us at any time to make minor amendments.
Q: If I’m still unhappy, can I get a refund?
A: Yes, if we have exhausted our efforts, then you do have up to 14 days from the day of purchase to ask for a refund. All deposit payments for face to face appointments however, are non refundable.
Q: I need to book an appointment with an Employment Advisor for interview skills training, what do I do?

Q: How many pages should my CV be?
A: It all depends on your experience and profession. It is important to keep it as short, clear and concise as much as possible. We recommend to keep your CV between 2 and 3 pages long.

A: Unfortunately not, we’d love for this to be the case. We can guarantee you a well-written CV that may increase your chances of winning interviews. Ultimately, it is the job seekers responsibility to take the necessary action to seek new career opportunities.

Q: How does the 12 months online support policy work?
A: As a way of staying in touch with you and seeing how you progress, we are happy to update your CV for free for the first 12 months of initially using our services. This does not include updating or creating newly targeted covering letters and must be related to your industry sector. If you require additional targeted covering letters, the charge will be £75 per covering letter. After the 12 month period, the charge to update your CV will be £150.
Q: What if I want to update my CV and it’s just over the 12 month free period, for example, 1 week or so?
A: To maintain our policy of fairness to all clients, the charges will remain the same which will be £75 per covering letter and then to update your CV will be £150.
Q: What does your face to face interview consultation consist of?
A: It will usually last no longer than two hours and will consist of a one on one session with an experienced Employment Advisor who will prepare you in the art of interviewing. The session is based on tried and tested techniques and will help you with your confidence and will ultimately improve your chances of securing a position.
