Sometimes at the job interviews you are likely to hear the following questions: ‘Do you have any other issues for us to answer?’ Unfortunately, some candidates do not want to spend extra time and simply answer that everything is clear. However, from the point of view of HR-manager it is not completely right. We’ll figure out what to do with such kinds of questions.
What the employer really wants to know by asking this question:
Are you interested in a company, a sphere of activity, a job position?
Are you showing interest?
Do you feel confident to ask additional questions?
What is important for you when choosing a job?
What is not worth answering such questions:
Are sick leaves paid? I have recently been ill for 3 months.
Are there any extra long hours and how long do they take?
When will the next paid vacation be?
I have no questions.
What should be considered when answering this question
Before asking questions, think at what stage you ask them and to whom. This is important because there are key points that you should learn about a company and a job, and then it’s worth moving on to the details.
At the first stage of the interview, ask questions about the company itself – how many employees, what structure of the unit (for the job you are talking about), who the manager is, what the next stages of the interview will be, when to expect feedback on this stage of the interview.
It’s better to go back to details like vacation and paid sickness after you learn more information and company and make a conclusion you see yourself here. Yes, these questions are important. And it really is worth asking the employer before accepting a job offer. Do this in the final stage, contact HR to clarify the important details for yourself.
Always ask your employer questions! Feel yourself a partner!
Why is it so important to tell the truth?
Hiding your values and life position do not make any sense. No one can wear a mask forever. Sooner or later, we all open up and manifest exactly the way we want. There is no point in playing these games. It’s a waste of time. Therefore, consider the recommendations and make your answers honest and relevant – in such a way you will find your dream job faster than you think!
